I've been painting this cabin for years - sometimes better than other times, but it just calls to me to paint every summer. This painting sold almost immediately, which really encouraged me at a time when I was just starting to paint plein air. The house is now in disrepair, the paint is pealing - I don't know what's happening with the property, but it still sits in a lovely place on Blue Mountain Lake, New York
